How do we get from the airport to the apartments? 

 

 

 

 

We can arrange your transfer to the apartments for an additional cost of 30.00 per person.    Your Flight No., time of arrival, and mobile phone no.  24 hours notice is required to either make or cancel a booking.   Hire cars, taxis and Uber are  also available at the airport.

 

 

 

 

We will arrive by car, are the apartments easy to find?

 

 

 

 

The Ocean View Apartment is a privately owned apartment located in the Marlin Waters Building on the Northern end of the Esplanade, opposite the surf club patrolled area of the beach and the netted swimming enclosure (seasonal)  The building is between the Surf Club and Peppers Beach Club.  Free undercover parking is provided at the rear of the building.

 

 

 

 

What hours is the reception desk open?

 

 

 

 

The onsite managers, Chris and Rhonda, open the reception desk from 8am to 5 pm Mon-Fri and 8-12 on Sat-Sun.  Check-in time is from 2pm.  If arriving  after hours please contact holidays@onpalmcove.com  for access information.  Earlier access may be available subject to housekeeping requirements.

 

 

 

 

What is the name of the building?

 

 

 

 

The Ocean View Apartment On Palm Cove is an independently owned apartment within the Marlin Waters building. You can be confident the apartment and the direct ocean views over Palm Cove Beach you see in our photo gallery show the apartment you are booking and will stay in on arrival.

 

 

 

 

The on-site managers, Chris and Rhonda operate a complimentary tour desk and will be very happy to advise and arrange any tours on your behalf.  It is not necessary to book prior to arrival.  

 

 

 

 

Do we need a car during our stay?

 

 

 

 

A car is not required, particularly for shorter stays of a week or less.  The apartments are a short walk from village shopping centre where you can buy most grocery and deli supplies you will need.  There is also delivery service from Coles and Woolworths for online shopping. For longer stays a car may be convenient for self drive touring and can be hired in Palm Cove.

 

 

 

 

What local shops and  facilities are available

 

 

 

 

There is a smaller grocery stores,  a chemist,  and hairdressers in Palm Cove all within convenient walking distance.   Also numerous boutique stores,  gift and art shops.   Within a 5 minute drive is a shopping centre at Clifton Beach.  The centre hosts Coles with online shopping and delivery, butcher, newsagent, Post Office, liquor store, chemist and doctors surgery.   There is regular bus service to Clifton Beach and Cairns.

 

 

 

 

Are there restaurants nearby?

 

 

 

 

A very extensive  choice of restaurants, cafes and coffee bars offering options from inexpensive casual meals to 5 star dining under the stars, are all within very comfortable walking distance.
