Rainforest

Tour buses also depart daily from the apartments to destinations such as Daintree River, Mosman Gorge, Cape Tribulation the village and markets of Kuranda (you can also choose to travel by steam train and skyrail) or the waterfall circuit of the Tablelands.

Again you can stroll the remote beaches, tackle the rainforest walking tracks or enjoy the sights in the armchair comfort of the air-conditioned coaches.

Reef and Islands

Take a trip to Green Island, Upolo Cay or the Great Barrier Reef. A huge variety of trips are available to suit the most active adventurer to the more passive spectator who prefers to remain dry while viewing the wonders of the Reef.

Shopping and Dining

An excellent array of boutique shops show casing resort fashions, shoes and swimwear, plus art galleries and speciality shops await  and if you need refreshment from your exertions there is no need to venture far with around 25 restaurants, cafés and snack bars along the Esplanade. Further afield approx 30 mins south you can visit Cairns and dine at the multi award winning Ochre Restaurant or 40 mins to the north is Port Douglas both have weekly markets and many quality restaurants and cafes to dine in.

Other Activities

For adventure seekers there is ballooning, hang gliding, bungy jumping and white water rafting.
